Wi-Tronix Welcomes Dave Semple as Director – Wi-Tronix Australia/New Zealand

February 6th, 2019 – Wi-Tronix, LLC is pleased to announce that on March 4, 2019, Dave Semple will join the Wi-Tronix team as Director – Wi-Tronix Australia/New Zealand. Dave will lead the Wi-Tronix Australia/New Zealand market strategy and execution. Dave will be based in Sydney, Australia as Wi-Tronix continues to extend world-class safety solutions to a global client base.

Dave received his B.S. Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and Masters of Management from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer, Province of Ontario, Canada and an International Engineer under the International Professional Engineers Agreement (IPEA). With over 40 years of experience with locomotives and passenger trains, his experience includes sales, engineering, manufacturing, testing, commissioning and through-life support of rolling stock. He started his professional career in Canada and has led engineering development projects in Australia, Canada, China and the United States. Dave has worked in Australia for the past 10 years at Downer EDI Rail and Progress Rail and most recently as Manager of Locomotive Technologies at LTK Australia.

Dave brings to Wi-Tronix extensive rail knowledge and leadership as well as extensive Australia/New Zealand market history and operating knowledge. Dave will be our dedicated resource tasked with managing customer relations in our Australian market.
