INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you use the Services, we collect information from you when you (a) use and/or access the Services, (b) register as a customer of Wi-Tronix through separate agreements, (c) open and/or respond to our emails, (d) contact Wi-Tronix, and/or (e) visit any page online that displays our content.  Wi-Tronix appreciates that you care how information about you is used and shared. Before you share any personally identifiable information with Wi-Tronix, please be aware of how we collect, use, store, and share information.  The information we gather about users of the Services enables us to provide you with the services and products you seek and helps us personalize and continually improve the Services. Here are the types of information we gather:

Information You Give Us on the Public Website: We receive and may store any information you enter on the Service or provide us in any way. For example, you provide us with information when you submit an inquiry, download a document, or interact with the website in other ways. We may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, employer, or interests. Some of the information we ask you to provide us is mandatory and some is voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory information requested for a particular activity, you will not be permitted to participate in that activity.

Information You Give Us on the Private (Restricted) Website: In addition to the information listed for the public website, when you log onto the private (restricted) website (“Private Website”), you will be providing a username and password, which is linked to one of our customers.  As part of your activities on the Private Website, you may be providing other information, including personally identifiable information. The information you provide on the Private Website is governed not only by this Privacy Policy but also the contract between Wi-Tronix and your employer. For further information on what information is being provided, you should contact your employer.

Automatic Information: We receive, analyze, and store certain types of information whenever you interact with the Services. For example, we may collect the IP address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your email address, information about your browser and operating system, the ‘Uniform Resource Locators’ of the websites you visit before and after the Services, and information about how you move around the Services.

CookiesWe may place cookies and other anonymous identifiers on your computer to prevent fraud, to personalize your experience on the Services, to collect and store this information so that we can improve the Service, and to market our services and products. We designed features of our Services to let new visitors anonymously learn about our products and services without revealing their identities. For these new visitors, the only information we collect online is from cookies, pixel tags or similar devices, which provide limited data, such as the date, time and areas of our Services that were visited, interactions on the Services, and the Web path/domain where the visitor came from. Wi-Tronix uses this information only to recognize you and hold information during your visit to the Services. This general information allows us to serve visitors better by continually improving the Service and making it more convenient.  In certain cases, you can choose not to provide us with the information, for example by setting your browser to refuse to accept cookies, but if you do, you may be unable to access certain portions of the Services. We may not be able to customize the Services’ features according to your preferences.

Information from Other Sources. We may combine information you provide us with information from third parties to correct our records, personalize your experience, or enhance our services. This may include, but is not limited to, information from ‘Google’ and our service providers.

Aggregate.  We may collect non-identifying and statistical information about the use of our Services, such as how many visitors visit a specific page, how long they stay on that page and which links, if any, they click on.  This information represents a generic overview of our users, including their collective habits. Information collected in the aggregate is not associated with you as an individual.

Device Data. We use device data, which is information concerning a device you use to access, use, and/or interact with the Services, such as operating system type and/or mobile device model, browser type, domain, and other system settings, the language your system uses and the country and time zone of your device, geo-location, unique device identifier and/or other device identifier, mobile phone carrier identification, and device software platform and firmware information.

Other Tracking Technologies. We may supplement information you provide to us with information from other sources, such as information to validate and/or update your address, payment card and/or other demographic information.  This information is used to maintain the accuracy of information on our Services and for internal analysis.  We may also use clear gifs, pixel tags and web beacons, which are tiny graphic images placed on website pages and/or in our emails that allow us to determine whether you have performed specific actions and are further used to track online movements of our users.  In contrast to Cookies, which are stored on your computer’s hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on web pages.  We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to your personally identifiable information.

With Authorized Third-Party Service Providers: We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, such as analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, and operating or hosting the Services, and we may share your personally identifiable information with these parties (collectively the “Third Party Service Providers”). These services may collect information sent by a browser as part of a web page request, including Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses, browser software, and/or clickstream patterns. If such Third Party Service Providers collect information, they do so anonymously without identifying individual visitors.  However, we may link the information we record using tracking technology to personal information we collect.  In addition, we may allow third parties who list services to use Cookies in connection with your use of the Services.  We encourage our Third Party Service Providers to adopt and post privacy policies; however, the use of your personally identifiable information by such parties is subject to their privacy policies and is not subject to our control.  We take your privacy very seriously, and we do not sell, rent, and/or otherwise provide your personally identifiable information to third parties for their marketing purposes.  We will not share your personally identifiable information in ways unrelated to those described in this Privacy Policy without providing you with an opportunity to opt out of such use or otherwise prohibit such unrelated use.

YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES

We respect your privacy and give you an opportunity to opt out of receiving announcements of certain information.  Although we think that you benefit from a more personalized experience when we know more about you and what you like, you can limit the information you provide to Wi-Tronix.  If you visit our Services and/or volunteer personally identifiable information, you can opt out of receiving notifications, and you may modify, update, and/or delete such personally identifiable information by contacting us at info@wi-tronix.com.   Please be aware that even after your request for a change is processed, Wi-Tronix may, for a time, retain residual information about you in its backup and/or archival copies of its database.  Please be aware that we may still email you non-commercial emails related to your account and your transactions through our Services.  Following termination and/or deactivation of your account, Wi-Tronix may retain information (including without limitation your profile information) for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes.
