DJ Stadtler

DJ Stadtler is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in the railroad industry. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority (VPRA), a position he has held since April 2021. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all strategy, policy development, and operations of the Authority.
Before joining VPRA, DJ Stadtler had a distinguished 12-year tenure at Amtrak, where he held several key executive positions, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer.
His extensive experience also includes serving as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Federal Railroad Administration, where he managed budget, accounting, procurement, and real estate functions.
DJ Stadtler is a two-time graduate of Northeastern University and resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
